1. Who we are

Digi Hardware operates this physical hardware store at digihware.k.vu. For the personal information we determine how to use, Digi Hardware is the data controller.

Merchant address: Mostar 88000, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Privacy contact: support@digihware.k.vu.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact and delivery details, such as your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, and telephone number when supplied for an order.
  • Purchase records, including the hardware ordered, order totals, delivery details, payment status and return or refund correspondence.
  • Account details, if you create a customer account, and messages you send to our support team.
  • Technical information generated when the website is used, such as IP addresses, browser and device details, session information and security logs.

3. Why we use this information

We use personal information to process orders, arrange payment and delivery, answer enquiries, maintain customer accounts and handle returns, refunds and complaints.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, order fulfilment and requested support rely on performing a contract or taking steps you request before a purchase. Required financial records rely on legal obligations. Proportionate security, fraud prevention and the defence of legal claims rely on legitimate interests where permitted. Optional marketing or tracking relies on consent where consent is required.

Information needed to complete and deliver an order is necessary for that service. If you do not provide it, we may be unable to fulfil the purchase.

4. Card payments through Stripe

We accept card payments through Stripe secure checkout. Payment information is handled through Stripe and the relevant payment networks or financial institutions. We receive payment confirmations and transaction information needed to administer the order and any refund.

Stripe also processes information for payment security, fraud prevention and its own legal obligations. Read the Stripe Privacy Policy for details of its practices. Do not send your full card number or card security code to customer support.

5. Who receives information

Information necessary for the purchase may be shared with payment providers, delivery carriers, hosting and website-service providers, email providers and professional advisers. Authorities may receive information when disclosure is legally required. A carrier needs delivery and contact details; a payment provider needs the information required to process a payment.

The store uses WordPress and WooCommerce to support the website and order administration. The information processed by individual services depends on the services used for your order.

Questions about the providers involved in your purchase can be sent to support@digihware.k.vu.

6. Cookies and optional tools

The website uses cookies and similar technology for functions such as a shopping session, cart, account sign-in and security. Payment providers may also use technology necessary to process a transaction and prevent fraud.

Where consent is required for optional tracking, you can choose whether to allow it and withdraw that choice through the available cookie controls. Browser settings can also restrict cookies, although this may affect the cart or account functions.

7. Storage, retention and international processing

We retain order and payment records for the periods required by applicable tax, accounting and commercial-record laws. Support records are retained as needed to resolve the enquiry, manage the purchase and address related claims. Account information is retained while the account is maintained, subject to deletion requests and any legal need to keep particular records. Technical logs are retained according to their operational and security purpose.

Digi Hardware is based in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Providers involved in hosting, payment or delivery may process information in other countries. The countries involved and the legal safeguards required depend on the provider and applicable law.

8. Security and your choices

We use measures appropriate to the information and services involved to help protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses of your information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve claims.

Send requests to support@digihware.k.vu. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the request. You may also raise a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina or another competent supervisory authority.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when the store’s practices or applicable requirements change. The last-updated date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required.
